Play tells the story of teenage girls during the miner's strike
The miners' strike of 1984 to 1985 was a defining moment in the history of British coal mining and the biggest industrial dispute in post-war Britain.
A new play in Ashfield is telling the story through a different lens. It鈥檚 about working-class teenage girls and how the strike changed their lives growing up.
It's been written by Dr Lisa McKenzie and Jayne Williams, who spoke to Summaya about the play.
