Search & Rescue team in final for community award
Last year Leicestershire saw one of its biggest emergency searches after a two-year-old boy, Xielo Maruziva, fell into the River Soar. His body was discovered four months later.
Leicestershire Search and Rescue, a group of volunteers, spent twenty days and nights looking in the river for the little boy.
Now the group has been named as finalists in the Community Group category in the 麻豆社 Make a Difference Awards.
Chairman of Leicestershire Search and Rescue Nick Canham and volunteer Steve Lamb have been speaking to 麻豆社 Leicester's Ady Dayman about the search for Xielo.
