The words 'there's no heartbeat' still haunt me
A mum from Braunstone, who gave birth to a stillborn baby in January, is holding a fundraiser to buy a 'cuddle-cot' for the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The cot is a special cold-unit with a basket, providing grieving families with more time to bond, create memories, and say goodbye.
Kelly Bliss's child, Seren was born at 37 weeks, with no heartbeat. She was able to use a cuddle-cot to spend some time with her baby.
Kelly told 麻豆社 Leicester's Ady Dayman about her experience, and how she now wants to help other parents going through the same heartbreak.
