Athletes prepare for World CrossFit Games
Five athletes from the Matt Hampson Foundation in Leicestershire are preparing to jet off to Las Vegas to compete in the World Adaptive CrossFit Games.
The games provide an opportunity for athletes with physical or neurological impairments in a test not just of fitness, strength and conditioning but also adaptability. It's the largest adaptive competition in the world, bringing together more than 300 athletes to battle for the title of Fittest on Earth.
Sophie Wilson and James Sutliff, plus beneficiaries Jacob Smith, Taylor Gough and Kylie Grimes are all heading to the USA after coming through a series of qualifiers to secure their places.
James Sutliffe and Sophie Wilson spoke to 麻豆社 Leicester's Ady Dayman.
