A kidney transplant athlete is triumphant after winning three gold medals
Track & field transplant athlete, Vince Taylor, from Highcliffe, recently returned from the World Transplant Games, held at the end of August in Dresden, with three gold medals hung round his neck. He triumphed in his three disciplines, the 100 metres, 200 metres and long jump. Vince now 64, underwent a successful kidney transplant at the age of 47. Only one year after he underwent the transplant surgery he found a passion for competing in track and field and has never looked back.
