Meet Flourish & Succeed CIC, a finalist for the Make a Difference Community Award 2025.
Michael is the founder of Flourish & Succeed CIC in Knowsley. He began with one-to-one 鈥渨alks and talks鈥� for people struggling with their mental health and has since expanded the organisation into a thriving community hub. Flourish & Succeed now offers women鈥檚 fitness classes twice per week, women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 groups, a men鈥檚 allotment group, SEN football sessions for children, and a parent and toddler group.
The CIC also runs warm hubs during winter, providing food and warmth for vulnerable people in the community. Through these initiatives, Michael has made a tangible difference, helping reduce isolation, improving wellbeing and mental health, connecting people, teaching new skills, and breaking down stigma and loneliness.
