Online safety and smartphone usage talk in schools
New smartphone restrictions were started in this school year, banning phone use for students under sixteen years of age in school, but how is it going?
We talk to Deputy Rob Ward about the new policy for schools regarding restrictions on smartphones, local students from Haute Vall茅e school who attended a talk by Mental Health Campaigner Natasha Devon on online safety and how to reduce smartphone usage, and a parent from Guernsey Oliver Westgarth, who founded Smartphone Free Childhood Guernsey.
