Composer Debbie Wiseman shares her London loves and loathes with Robert Elms.
Debbie Wiseman OBE is a conductor and composer with a career spanning more than 20 years.
She was born in Belsize Park, grew up in Finchley, and she received her musical education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Over the course of her long and varied career, Debbie has composed over 200 pieces for the big and small screen. Highlights include the 麻豆社鈥檚 Wolf Hall, the 1997 film 鈥榃ilde鈥� with Stephen Fry, and the theme music for the Andrew Marr Show. She鈥檚 also composed music for several royal birthdays, Jubilees and anniversaries.
Debbie was voted the most popular living composer in Classic FM鈥檚 Hall of Fame a few years ago, and is also a visiting Professor at the Royal College of Music.
