The vast hoard of toys rescued from Weymouth beach
The Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project have trawled Weymouth beach every evening this summer, after beachgoers have gone home. They were met with toys, rubbish and even brand new deck chairs.
The local scout group at Wyke Regis help them sort the junk so it can be recycled at various destinations. Dave Taylor spoke to Radio Solent's Steve Harris about the remarkable array of junk they collected.
