Jilly Cooper: 'I was sacked 22 times'
Essex-born author Dame Jilly Cooper, who is perhaps best-known for her series of raunchy and romantic novels, has died aged 88.
In a statement her family said "We are so proud of everything she achieved in her life - and can't begin to imagine life without her infectious smile and laughter"
