Ally Fir and Matt Rawlings created The Mysterious Bookcase in 2022, as an online store offering a "blind date with a book".

Three years later, their loyal following on social media has enabled them to open a physical store in Westbourne Arcade, Bournemouth.

The Mysterious Bookcase is set to open its doors at 10am on Saturday 11th October 2025.
