Helping the Afghans in Nesscliffe
The last Afghan families have left the Nesscliffe Barracks after two years. More than 1,500 workers and family members have passed through the base since November 2023 before being found permanent homes. Health and education services were provided through a partnership led by the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt hospital near Oswestry. Rebecca Warren is one of the nurses that helped look after the refugees.
