The 24-hour crisis line supporting police officers
A new 24-hour Mental Health Crisis Line has been launched by The National Police Wellbeing Service to support policing staff. Over the summer of 2025, it was reported that 211 Dorset Police officers had been signed off work due to stress, depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder. Chris Wood, Chair of the Dorset Police Federation, tells the 麻豆社's Katie Martin why.
