The D-Day veteran now living on the Isle of Wight
The silhouette installation 鈥楩or Your Tomorrow - The People's Tribute鈥� created by charity Standing with Giants, to tribute the 1,475 servicemen under British Command who gave their lives on D-Day, has debuted at Fort Nelson in 2025. Veteran Alec William George Penstone was there on opening day and told the 麻豆社's Russell Crewe what he experienced on D-Day.
