Residents and families in Leicester have told us of the persistent noise and disturbance from the use of fireworks during this year's Diwali celebrations.

Leicestershire police said they dealt with 62 firework related incidents on Monday evening into Tuesday morning. 27 of these were in the East Leicester area of the city between 5pm and 1am. There's been no official Diwali firework display this year in Leicester and many people have been holding their own parties.

People in Spinney Hills gave their reaction, and former Leicester city councillor Rita Patel spoke to Â鶹Éç Leicester's Ady Dayman.
