'It would be very sad' - concerns about proposed Broad Marsh student flats
Plans to build a 330-bed student accommodation block near Nottingham鈥檚 Broad Marsh development has caused debate since it was proposed earlier in October.
The Nottingham Civic Society says the proposed building would be too tall, overshadowing the newly created Green Heart park, and threaten historic structures like Hanson House, but developers Peveril Securities and Sladen Estates argue the plans will regenerate the area.
Ian Wells from The Nottingham Civic Society joined Summaya to share the group's concerns.
