Rob Franks, from Poole, has written a children鈥檚 book inspired by his son鈥檚 emotions and experiences during a difficult period in their lives.
'The Accident' tells the story of an eight-year-old boy who witnesses his father getting seriously injured during a cricket match and explores the feelings that follow.
Rob has been chatting to the 麻豆社's Gaby Roslin about his children's book.
Rob won the Community Award in 麻豆社 Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards in 2024.
