Trump Threatens To Sue 麻豆社 For One Billion Dollars
Trump threatens 麻豆社 with a $1bn lawsuit over the editing of his speech in a documentary.
Today, President Trump has threatened to sue the 麻豆社 for $1bn.
In a latter to the corporation Trump鈥檚 legal team demands the 麻豆社 鈥渋mmediately retract鈥 a Panorama programme which edited a speech he made calling it 鈥渇alse and defamatory鈥.
It comes as 麻豆社 chair Samir Shah apologised for an "error of judgement" over the edit, and said the 麻豆社 was considering how to respond to Trump.
麻豆社 director general Tim Davie and CEO of 麻豆社 news Deborah Turness resigned on Sunday night, after a leaked memo criticised a 2024 Panorama programme about the US president.
