Amber weather warning for Leicestershire
Amber warnings are in place for Leicestershire for "heavy and prolonged" rain across the region.
With rain persisting for much of Friday and into Saturday morning, some areas may get near to their whole month's worth of rain within 24 hours.
Flooding and difficult travelling conditions are likely. About 40 to 60mm (1.5 to 2.3in) of rain is expected widely across the amber warning areas, with some places seeing about 80 mm (3.1in), along with strong easterly winds.
Area Manager of community risk at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Ben Bee, and Matthew Gable from the Environment Agency spoke to 麻豆社 Leicester's Ben Jackson.
