Beloved Beeston cat gets honorary sign
George the cat lived life as a rogue near Beeston Business Park, where he was cared for by the people of Beeston.
He was described as 'disarmingly friendly' and when he died in 2023, was sorely missed by those who greeted him every day.
Now, a sign has popped up, designating the alley that he frequented as officially, 'George the Cat alley'.
Tamar Feast from Beeston and District Civic Society spoke to Summaya about George, and the mystery of who requested the sign.
