Film about murdered girl 'could have saved lives'
A film created after the murder of a 15-year-old Leicestershire girl, warning about the dangers of online grooming, has ‘potentially saved students lives’.
10 years ago, Kayleigh Haywood was groomed online, raped and beaten to death by Stephen Beadman, two weeks after she was first contacted by his friend, Luke Harlow on Facebook.
A video produced by Leicestershire police has been viewed more than 4 million times by school pupils across the country.
Students from Kayleigh's old school shared their thoughts on the film, and Vikki Rundle-Brown, Head of School at Ashby School, and Helen Schofield, Detective Superintendent at Leicestershire Police spoke to Âé¶¹Éç Leicester's Ady Dayman.
