King's Award for Warwickshire dementia group
Heather and Paul Dowler from Warwickshire community group "talkdementia" are to receive The King鈥檚 Award for Voluntary Service, it's the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
The group was founded in 2021 by Heather and Paul, who married after meeting at the Wellesbourne Dementia Caf茅. Both of their former spouses had dementia.
The couple spoke to 麻豆社 CWR's Vic Minett, and explained how it felt to win such an award.
