Farmer Jack Hallam has been doing his bit to help out in Egton Bridge.

As an amber alert remains for snow and a yellow warning for ice until midnight, with temperatures plummeting as low as minus 3 in parts of the region.

Gary Philipson spoke to farmer Jack, who has been helping pull the community together to see residents through the storm, and keep businesses moving.
