Should the age for bowel cancer screening be lower?
Bowel cancer is the 4th most common cancer in Jersey and Guernsey.
All 50 to 74-year-olds in England receive a home-testing kit for bowel cancer every two years.聽In Jersey, it's those aged 55-65 and 60-70 year-olds in Guernsey.
We spoke to Di Matthews (right), the strategic screening lead for public health in Guernsey about what the process is like, and Sammy Keane (left), from Jersey, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer three years ago when she was just 29 about why she feels the screening age should be lowered.
