Carbon monoxide alarm saves Leicestershire couple
A Leicestershire couple say every home should have a carbon monoxide alarm after their lives were saved by their device.
Graham and Rosemary Pickering from Huncote were both feeling sleepy at home and didn't think too much of it until the alarm sounded.
After opening the windows, turning off the gas and calling Cadent, it turned out they had very high levels of carbon monoxide in their home which could have been deadly.
Graham and Rosemary told their story to reporter Kevin Ncube, and Ben Bee, Area Manager for Community Risk at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, spoke to Â鶹Éç Leicester's Jack Rafferty.
