'Swaledale Mountain Rescue' are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to recover injured hikers.

The teams also help search for missing children and vulnerable adults - both on and off the hills. It can take up to four years to train the rescue dogs and for that they need dogsbodies - volunteers who work with the teams on training sessions, pretending to be lost or injured casualties.

Claudia Robinson spoke to the team.
