What 'forever chemicals' are and how to avoid them

The European Commission is currently consulting on a blanket ban of PFAS.

PFAS are a huge family of man-made chemicals - around ten thousand of them - used for decades to make things non-stick, waterproof and heat-resistant. The vast majority are legal. They鈥檙e incredibly stable, which means they can hang around in the environment and in our bodies, earning them the name 鈥渇orever chemicals鈥.
