Tram fare rise comes into force
As the cost of living continues to rise, you may begin to notice rising costs on Nottingham's tram system.
From today, adult single tickets will rise by 10p to £3.50 when using the 'tap on' validators, and to £3.60 when using ticket machines.
'Tap on' adult day tickets will rise by 15p to £5.65, with the same rise for ticket machine purchases, to £5.80. The student and under-22 day, single, and week tickets will rise by 20p, while the family ticket - renamed from group ticket - will rise from £10 to £12 during off-peak times and from £14 to £15 in peak hours.
Tim Hesketh, the CEO of NET explained the fare changes to Summaya.
