'I found a cannabis grow in my new house'
When Joe Edgson, a first time buyer, went up to the attic of his Sutton-in-Ashfield house, he was shocked to find mould, soil, and a pile of evidence pointing to a cannabis grow.
He says his Level 2 survey didn't pick up on the damage and now wants the surveyors to take responsibility.
A spokesperson for Bellway said: "Second-hand homes are sold as seen, subject to any surveys the buyer chooses to arrange. We therefore do not consider these claims to have any validity."
A Countrywide Surveying Services spokesperson added: "Following our second line review of the case, we are confident that the survey was carried out in accordance with the expected standards and scope of a Level 2 Survey."
