Boat rescued following the Whitchurch canal breach
A major operation has been carried out to refloat one of the canal boats caught up in the Llangollen Canal breach.
The vessel, Pacemaker, was left teetering on the edge of a giant hole when a section of the canal near Whitchurch collapsed on 22 December. Two boats were pulled into the hole that opened up in the canal bed as water gushed away.
