Gambler told family he’d be ‘better off dead’
Oliver Long from Buckinghamshire took his own life at age 36 after being unable to stop. His sister Chloe Long claims the industry uses “predatory tactics” to encourage people to gamble more. An inquest into Oliver’s death recorded a conclusion of suicide, and the coroner said she would be sending a report about unlicensed gambling to the government. Interview by Jane Dougall.
