Inside Lincoln鈥檚 Community Diagnostic Centre
The centres in Lincoln, Skegness and Grantham 鈥 plus a fourth being built in Boston 鈥 are intended to take the strain off acute hospital services.
Almost 拢80m of NHS funding has gone into four Community Diagnostic Centres in Lincolnshire. The centres in Lincoln, Grantham and Skegness, plus a fourth under construction in Boston, are designed to handle patients with appointments, freeing up equipment and resources at main hospitals for A&E and ward patients. William Wright has been to the Lincoln CDC.
