Helen Mahoney talks about her experience with the medical complaints process in Guernsey after the death of her husband in 2024.
As it stands the current medical complaints process means that islanders can contact Health and Social Care, the HSC or The Medical Specialist Group, the MSG.
The 麻豆社 reached out to the MSG for comment and a spokesperson said "We have reviewed the response from HSC and MSG to Mrs Mahoney's complaint and accept that, while the investigation was thorough, we could have been clearer in explaining the details and more explicit in offering an unambiguous apology. We have learned from this."
