Comedian Jack Dee: ‘The Lion King made me cry!’
Robert Elms discovered Jack Dee’s softer side when he became a Listed Londoner in 2009.
Jack Dee was born in Bromley in 1961 and grew up in the small town of Petts Wood in the borough.
He’s been performing stand-up since the early 90s, becoming known for his sarcasm, irony, and characteristic deadpan humour.
Across his 30 year career he’s regularly guest presented on Have I got news for you?, been a team captain on Shooting Stars….and fronted three titular TV shows The Jack Dee Show on Channel 4, Jack Dee's Saturday Night on ITV, and Jack Dee's Happy Hour on the Â鶹Éç.
Jack came in to answer the famous 15 back in 2009 - the year he became the host of I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue on Radio 4.
