Rachael Bland’s mum: ‘I got a memory pebble to remember her’
Gayna, Rachael Bland’s mum, says she wanted to have a memorial for her daughter closer to her home in South Wales.
Rachael died of breast cancer in 2018 and her ashes are buried in Knutsford, Cheshire.
“I had a memory pebble made,” she said, “it’s a lovely pebble and it sits there on David’s [Gayna’s husband’s] grave.”
“Every time I go up, memory pebble is there, and I wash, clean it and wash it up, put fresh flowers, and I think, well that’s my way to remember her here.”
