'Oldest Northener' found, lived in Ulverston
11000 year old teeth DNA, prove skeleton found in cave is that of a young girl. Amateur archaeologist Martin Stables found the remains in Great Urswick in 2016, and in celebration of where they were unearthed, he's now nicknamed her the 'Ossick Lass'. Photo - Martin Stables
