Why are there dodo 'warnings' in Essex?
Feathers have been ruffled again in an Essex village after a controversial sign was attached to a lamp post, warning motorists that ducks may be crossing the road, despite residents saying they had never seen a duck in the area. The red triangular sign cost 拢7,000 and can be seen on Daws Heath Road near Hadleigh.
There's now been further bemusement after another warning sign appeared on the same road featuring the extinct dodo...
