Storms in Cornwall: Our winters could get wetter
Experts at the Met Office say the weather we've had so far in 2026 could also be a sign of things to come, with more intense and wetter storms expected.
Along with exceptionally strong winds during Storm Goretti, Cornwall has seen record breaking rainfall with January being the wettest one on record.
We've been asking climate experts to try and explain what it all means.
