Frank Skinner celebrates the Beat Poets – a generation of poets in the 1940s and 50s who rebelled against American conventions, championed ‘spontaneous writing’, and won over Frank in a school assembly.

Poems referenced include:
Lawrence Ferlinghetti - Sometime During Eternity
Gregory Corso - Man About to Enter Sea
Allen Ginsberg - Sunflower Sutra
William Wordsworth - I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud
Lawrence Ferlinghetti – He

Plus Frank argues that Jack Kerouac’s On the Road is a poem too.
