Town of Culture: The bids are in
The bids are in. Oakham, Melton, Ashby, Loughborough, Coalville, Hinckley and Market Harborough have submitted their bids for 鈥楿K Town of Culture鈥�.
Shortlisted towns will get 拢60,000 to build on their application, before the winner is crowned next year and given 拢3 million to transform their town. The runners up will get 拢250,000.
