鈥淭he fact that Roo has been hand crafted in Shropshire makes this a very special story.鈥�

An Ironbridge teddy bear maker has recreated the original stuffed version of Roo, the much loved character from AA Milne鈥檚 Winnie the Pooh stories.

The original toy is missing from the collection currently on display at the New York Public Library, and the newly created version will be hand delivered by Queen Camilla during her visit to the United States.

Merrythought鈥檚 Managing Director, Sarah Holmes, has been telling 麻豆社 Radio Shropshire鈥檚 Adam Green how the project came about.
