Tommy opens at The Water Rats with a nod to the acts who came before—then swerves into what it’s like being ‘famous’ in Ireland (where you’re spotted in Tesco). From Europe’s different attitudes to sex and Berlin’s red-light reality to Ireland dreaming up its own laws, he barrels into politics, referendums and national contradiction with big laughs and bigger turns.
