Goodbye to Maida Vale Studios

After nine decades, the 麻豆社 will leave the Maida Vale Studios this summer

A former ice rink in West London has been a hub for the 麻豆社's musical output for nearly a century, but will close this summer.
Built to make a permanent home for the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra, the site has also been the home for 麻豆社 news output during World War 2, pioneered stereophonic broadcasting, made experimental audio through its Radiophonic Workshop and hosted hundreds of iconic music sessions.
The 麻豆社 Music Studios will move to East London, while a partnership including Hans Zimmer will take over the Maida Vale site.
