Piers Morgan: I want Earl Spencer's book 'withdrawn'
Earl Spencer has apologised for an error in his new book about Diana, Princess of Wales.
Piers Morgan has said he wants Earl Spencer's memoir withdrawn after the earl apologised for writing in the book that Morgan was editor of the Daily Mirror when the Mirror Group published "highly intrusive photographs of Princess Diana at the gym".
Earl Spencer, Diana's brother, admitted "his assumption was incorrect" and "apologises to Mr Morgan for this error", a statement said.
Speaking to PM, Piers Morgan said he wanted the book, which is on sale from today, withdrawn because of the "defamatory lie".
