The village is also home to The Chalet, the red-and-white house made famous by the Netflix show Sex Education, which was home to Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield's characters, Jean and Otis Milburn.
On the opposite side of the River Wye is Symonds Yat West, which includes Ye Old Ferrie Inn and the hand-pulled ferry known as The Frog. Closer to the A40 is the campsite, amusement park and butterfly zoo. It is also another spot well known for its paddlesports.
