UN task force on Syrian humanitarian access calls on all sides to prevent civilian deaths
The head of the UN's task force on humanitarian access in Syria, Jan Egeland, has called on all sides to work to prevent civilian deaths in Idlib. Forces loyal to the Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, are thought to be preparing a major military offensive on the rebel-held province.
