Rwanda: Kigali placed in 15-day lockdown

A 15-day lockdown has been imposed by the authorities in Rwanda鈥檚 capital Kigali. The decision was taken in light of a second wave of coronavirus cases that has caused "unprecedented deaths and transmission rates鈥�. Officials say 61% of Rwanda鈥檚 new Covid-19 cases since the new year have been recorded in Kigali.
Plus, the latest from Darfur in Sudan. There are concerns that inter-ethnic violence is increasing in the region, as peacekeeping soldiers from the United Nations and African Union begin to leave.
