Ghana bids final farewell to former president Jerry Rawlings
Ghana鈥檚 longest-serving leader laid to rest in state funeral
The former president died on 12 November at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in the capital, Accra, after a short illness
His body has been lying in state since 25 January allowing hundreds of people to pay their respects.
In Zimbabwe three senior members of the ruling Zanu PF party who died form Covid-19 have been laid to rest.
And in South Africa a leading Covid-19 scientist has called for a fairer global distribution of vaccines.
