Tanzania swears in first female president
Samia Suluhu Hassan makes history as she becomes the county鈥檚 first female president.
Samia Suluhu Hassan served as Tanzanian vice-president under President John Pombe Magufuli from 2015 until his death. The former president鈥檚 funeral will be held on 25 March.
In Ethiopia鈥檚 Tigray region nearly 200,000 people have fled their homes four months into the conflict there and are uncertain about what the future holds.
