African students stranded in India

Fearful African students as India hits record COVID infections and deaths.

COVID figures reach record levels in India; we hear about the effect of the pandemic on African students... some speak of depression and only having one meal a day.

Also, tear gas and live bullets have been fired at protesters in Chad. At least two people are confirmed dead, and there is tension in the capital, N'Djamena.

And we talk about identity and belonging with the author, Hafsa Zayyan, whose debut novel, 'We Are All Birds of Uganda' has just been published.
